Telework, Mobile Devices, and WiFi Guidance
In the past several years, the Federal Government has supported alternative work arrangements that provide a more employee-friendly environment. They are commonly called: teleworking and telecommuting. This workplace flexibility has its own unique set of security challenges.
Special security precautions must be taken. Because of employees, Government information and equipment are outside the protective shell of the Agency's normal work environment.
Employees and contractors must follow all OPM Security and privacy policies while in telework status.
